Two Old Rival War Horses

all set for a battle of courses;

   One showing a PALM of glory;

                and the other pointing fingers of victory;

          Blowing a trumpet of their own feats

                      in a race pursuit to catch up their hot seats;

                                 
                                 Freebies galore the public;

     this is  nothing but a trend of cyclic;


  so the time for us has begun;

                       to ensure that the reprise doesn't crop again.
